Frequently asked questions

How is my guess scored?

Color Match compares your colour to the true colour in CIELAB space using the CIEDE2000 formula — a perceptual measure of colour difference. The closer the two colours look to the human eye, the higher your score.

Does the app need an internet connection?

No. Color Match works entirely offline.

Is my progress saved anywhere else?

No. All progress is stored on your device only, so it does not sync between devices and is erased if you delete the app.

I'm colour-blind. Can I still play?

Yes. Turn on the colour-blind assist mode in the app's Settings screen.

How do I reset my progress?

Open Settings in the app and use the reset option.

What data does the app collect?
